Greetings! I’m Princess Dlamini, your Copywriter specialising in Creative Brand Communications.
I love connecting with brands, it gives me the opportunity to communicate directly to key figures in the supply chain; the consumers. I admire the attitude of exceeding client expectations, thinking big and saying no to average because average is not an option here.
I believe that writing is all about being empathetic towards my audience. In order to communicate with them effectively and add value to their lives, I commit to gathering insights that reveal what drives them and how they view the world.
I’m fueled to use the worldwide, powerful tool of language and communication to make people feel something, to provoke emotion and to succeed in communication by consistently asking myself “How do I want people to feel after reading this?”.

Q: When and where did you discover Copywriting?
A: I discovered Copywriting 6 years ago at Vega school of Johannesburg.
However, I’ve been writing since I was 10 years old. As a kid, I used to write letters to my parents to persuade them into buying me the entertainment gadgets that I wanted. And it worked every time! Then, I started journaling when I was 13 and throughout my High School years, I was known for writing detailed and excellent English essays. Fast forward to today, I’m practically writing persuasive and creative “letters” to everyone in the world and yet again, it’s working! Writing has always been and will forever be, my first love.
Q: What brand has been your favourite to write for?
A: Can’t pick! I enjoy writing for them ALL.
Q: Which brands would you like to write for in future?
A: Nike, Mercedes Benz and The Coca-Cola Company.
Q: As a copywriter, what will you definitely do?
A: Read! I’m drawn to words, I enjoy reading with critique.
Q: What do you bring to the table as a Copywriter?
A: Well, I AM the table. Yes, I excel in this craft. Like a table, I am sturdy and essential. I have versatility, creativity, and skill for Creative Brand Communications, all while remaining unshakeable in my ability to deliver quality. So yes, I have it all, and then some, as a Copywriter.

A: Read the brief, Ask questions, Gather insights, Discover the brand tone, Brainstorm, Write, Proofread, Edit and Review.
